Yeah the whole Ford truck market is really over complicated and overlapping. To me the mavericks only make sense at 30k but the tremor is 40k and you get into a Ranger at that point. Same with the Ranger, to me, excluding the RR the Ranger Laritat doesnt make sense as you can get a F-150, if towing is a main Key to the vehicle.

Yeah the mirror blinkers is ridiculous. I am thinking to add them back in I will need two new mirrors and the loom. Which I believe is going to cost about $1200 USD per mirror OEM. When it only saved Ford maybe $2 a mirror. I am picking my 2026 up on Thursday, so Ill be able to see the mirror connections on the door to make a better call on what is needed.

Missing out on the 12V imo sucks too, as it was one thing I was planning to add to the bed.
I'm guess you never checked the door harness after? the door harness goes to the door module. then to the truck. as long as your prewired at the mirror plug, your golden

No power folding mirrors on the 2026 XLT.
I was wondering about this--frankly not a bad move if Ford wants to save cost.
I was initially excited to have this feature on my '24 XLT, but the way the mirrors fold is a joke and saves almost no space.

I agree, I would rather have heated mirrors than folding ones.

I agree, my 2025 XLT has the folding mirrors but I wish it had heated mirrors instead.

Heated mirrors why? ;) Probably the only feature I haven't used.

I love my folding mirrors like @bigb as a locked indicator and I have used them to get a little more clearance going into our single garage or walking around the truck when it is tight.

When I see other vehicles with mirror turn signals, I really appreciate them on my 2025.

Are the heated mirrors only in the Raptor and Lariat? Another cheap-out move.

One thing the folding mirrors are good for, you can tell if your truck is locked by just looking at it.
True, and I really appreciated that feature up until winter hit, the mirrors froze in the retracted position and it took a half hour of warm up and driving before they reluctantly unfolded. Turned the auto fold feature off after that. Now I just hit the remote lock and see the flash.

We get a lot of snow and frost where I live, all four seasons. Heated mirrors are nice when it’s very cold, snowy and or icy.

Yes, not available as an option on the other trims

YES, not even an option on the lower trims.

i got my 2025 XLT right before Christmas and the folding mirrors froze folded onward during an ice storm. I turned them off until last week.
