Thanks for mentioning this, I've always been annoyed that the display constantly shows .5 better mpg than hand-calculated.
I went in and adjusted the AFE Bias (Average Fuel Economy Bias) to hopefully get it closer.
I was wondering about this--frankly not a bad move if Ford wants to save cost.
I was initially excited to have this feature on my '24 XLT, but the way the mirrors fold is a joke and saves almost no space.
I originally wondered if that's what it was, but recall is still showing active in the Ford app. The recall description says it can be a remote update.
Unfortunately, I think that is the XLT version w/o the upper glove box. The illustration is the same, but the the part numbers and description list:
N1WZ2606202LB - Lariat (was LA; appears a LC suffix is now available)
N1WZ2606202YA - XLT
N1WZ2606202XA - XL
I looked at the catalog for a 2026...
I very much doubt that too. I assumed the market segment for large SUVs is bigger than mid-size trucks. However, Grok says I'm incorrect in that assessment. Interesting as it seems like I see more expeditions/tahoes/suburbans on the road than mid size trucks...and manufactures seem to put a...
In my opinion, the ride is probably just the difference between the F150 and Ranger. As you noted, F150 has a longer wheelbase, but is also wider.
I have both an '18 F150 Lariat and '24 Ranger XLT FX4. I have no complaints on the Ranger's ride, but hands down the F150 is smoother and rides...

Its the same controller and install referenced in this thread:
https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/wires-for-trailer-brake-controller-24-ranger.11415/
The Redarc is pretty much standalone so no info on the Ford display.
The Redarc interface is cleverly simple...turn the knob to adjust the gain, press it to activate trailer brakes, LED for status. I've been happy with how it controls the brakes for both a flatbed and travel trailer.
As far as...
One thing is certain, there's lots of opinions when it comes to oil. Sharing mine:
I use Valvoline Restore and Protect in my Ranger and F150 and do 5k oil change intervals. I started using in the F150 (3.5L Ecoboost) at 112k and it now has 150k--never hand any problems with the engine and a...
I purchased the Ford BaseCare plan from Grainger when I bought the truck (8yr/100k). I usually avoid extended warranties, but justified it in this case since powertrain components have got crazy expensive and I plan to keep the truck a long time.
