Same here - scared the crap out of me during my first trip to the train station garage. Thought I wrecked the roof of my new truck…thank god it was just that lighting rod!

Yes it was. I removed the two screws at the bottom of the inner wheel well. That gives you enough room to get your fingers behind and push the bottom tab of the light out. Then you just pop it out.
Any pics with them lit up to see how they look?Done and done / very happy with the outcome! Looks great and very clean. Used VHT Niteshades on the side markers.
Will take some - it’s very dim as I really sprayed it on thick for a deeper black color but can still see a faint amber light. If you do a lighter coating, would let much more light through, it just be more of a “smoked orange” look vs “straight black”.
I don’t listen to the radio, CarPlay every day, so I don’t have an opinion on it vs stock. It’s a super high quality piece though, very nice product, it’s not some cheapo Chinese garbage…and it’s still plenty high up, so imagine it’s fine! You can also get one that’s slightly longer if you want a bit more height - this is 2”, think they make a 4
My RR is stuck on Ramp 59 in purgatory after being marked built 6/30… so I can only look at it in a pile of things waiting to install.
I scrapped my order and went with plan B for a RR on a lot already. Installed the antenna and it's working great! Quality piece for sure.

I don’t know about that one but I bought this one and haven’t noticed any change in reception.
