I can't for the life of me find or confirm if there is a Ford Performance Splash Screen that fits the 12" inch touch screen for the Ranger in Forscan. I have the tune and thought it would be cool to update the Splash screen.
Nope, it sucked. Not enough room to get a good purchase on it - and the screws are barely finger tight. With the horn pulled, I was literally able to pull the bottom screw and fender side screw with a bit driver in seconds. That top inside screw is in a really tight, confined space.
Yeah, that would work. This is how I rigged up my wrench which is similar to what you are describing. I did a quick wrap around this to bind the tape to itself.
Its just tedious and there is no quick way to do it. Its not hard. Had I started with what I know now, and using my $3 self fabricated tool first (and maybe a buddy) I could knock this out in under 4 hours.
Not really. It doesnt provide any more space needed to work between the frame and the back of the housing. The best leverage point is either thru the wheel well or completely removing the front end.
I'm not a certified mechanic, but I've done a lot of engine, induction, and electrical mods on...
Nope, the one closest to the engine - its tucked behind a weird part of the frame. You can see it in this Pic.
Driver side - You have maybe an inch of room between the housing and the frame next to the screw. Then maybe an inch and a half between the screw and the frame directly behind the...
The problem isnt the space inside the fenders, its that the inside screw on the back of the module is largely inaccessible due to how close it is to the frame. No tool fits in there easily. There's three screws on each module. Two screws come out in a matter of seconds. The third screw will...
Yes, pulled the tires and dropped the mudguards. Took me about 7 hours doing 95% of it solo. With a knowledgable buddy as a second set of hands it probably takes less than 4. I easily spent a couple hours figuring out the best way to remove 2 screws and connect/disconnect wiring harnesses...
I was doing a quick search for Aux/Upfitter switches for the Ranger and found this genuine Foed Parts kit. Says it fits the 2024-2026 Ranger Models. A similar kit came out for the Bronco in October. This looks new to me.

Spent Christmas Day installing the @Signature Lux DRLs on my 2024 XLT. It was a tedious install. I've never hated anything the way I hate the top inside screws on the DRL modules. The real MVP of the install was a self fabricated 1/4 wrench and 15T torx bit held together with painters tape...
