@CaptAngry if you have a 3d printer, I made custom mounts for the rear speakers and I modified some I found online for the front doors. I can send you the files. The rear door mounts angle them correctly as well.
Ha ha. As much as I'd love to drive out there, it's a bit far from East TN. I'm more than happy to message you with measurements I would need and some ideas to incorporate into your future design.
@AdventureLab Are there plans for full height cross bars in the works? I am looking to sell my wagon after I do some work on it, but can't until I can carry my canoe with my raptor.
@AdventureLab would it be possible to get a slice from your 3d model just of this face? I can't find my little protractor, so it will be a decent amount of trial and error to get the hole spacing correct in Fusion360. I ordered some carbon fiber poles that I want to mount on the rack to serve...
Well this handle is working a lot better than I expected. Probably one more revision and I'll have it where I want it. I can shake the whole truck with it.
Need an honest opinion. I modeled this up last night and did a draft print, before I realized I could get by just as easily with having a loop of climbing webbing attached to the cross bar to pull my fat self up into the bed. 😅. Should I keep trying to model up a handle to print and attach to...
For me, the side panels are the only ones that came with rivnuts. I bought the rear panel separately and it didn't have any. It came with two nylock nuts.
Does anyone have any suggestions for installing the nuts for the top 2 screws on the back molle panel? Even with my small hands I can reach to get the nut started.
@AdventureLab
Yeah, sorry for the bad pic. That's exactly what it was. I should be using 4 screws to attach each baseplate right? If so, I think I got the wrong baseplates with my set, since the baseplate hole spacing doesn't match up for all 4 holes.
@AdventureLab
I got my rails today, but I think I've run into an issue. The holes on the bottom bracket don't line up with the available holes on the bottom of the vertical risers. Am I only supposed to use one set of holes? I am assuming not.
For anyone following the thread, I just wanted to make an update. Project is not dead, but is on hold. What is dead are both of my 3D printers. 😂. I ordered parts and hopefully can get them fixed the next 2 or 3 weeks when I have some time.
I love my Raptor, but I really wish they had these built in for that. I'm far too short and literally have to roll across the tailgate to get up there sometimes. 😂
