Replying to myself: after trying to contact Christune.pl for 4 times, I remembered one good place in Finland who is doing lots of Öhlins, Bilstein, Reiger etc rallycar suspension work - they also service Ranger Raptor Fox shocks :)
Just in case you need Fox service in Europe...
Thank you!! Works perfectly, even reverse brake assist works again. A very important feature when the lady is dricing...
How do you guys know this kind of stuff?
This Ranger Raptor has been part of rear camera recall, but "Reverse Brake Assist Not Available" has never really disappeared.
So after multiple visits to Ford dealer, I tried to get rid of B1578 DTC by myself.
I am trying to do Forscan 360 camera calibration on a parking lot, every time it...
Everything works, but there is DTC P160A in TCM that does not clear. No warning lights in IPC though.
Has someone got it done so that P160A has been cleared?
So I have several wheel sets for my 2024 RR.
With 35” M/T the speedometer is spot on, but with original 33” A/T it shows 5-6km/h too much. IPC also shows travel distance about 5% too much.
So I wanted to change tire circumference for 33” tires. I made the change in BodyCM and then performed PCM...
I am getting TCM DTC P160A:00-2F and even TCM relearn does not clear it. I did PCM and AWD relearn, no help.
When I go back to original 2525mm circumference, all good and no DTC.
This is RR, so original tire is 285/70-17 and circumference should be 2609 or so?
Please help, what I am doing wrong...
For EU RR, just change BMS configuration to PWM and no ASS anymore.
Anyway, I got RA Ranger ASS eliminator and it works perfecly without affecting BMS config.
So swapping tires, to a set that have been under the car earlier.
I perform tire learn with IPC - but it does not start to read tire pressures 😳
Then I got one DTC of failure to communicate with wheel sensors, cleared it and no DTC’s since.
But still no pressure info, just old one from previous...
It is a great thing, during rush hour it even stops and accelerates again. Love it with lane centering, but... the big BUT is a very stupid system that does not feel your hands on steering wheel, but wants you to turn the steering wheel every 20 seconds.
If this system would feel your hand on...
With OEM pads, feeling was very soft and complete lack of modulation is what really bothered me. I felt that pushing the pedal did not correlate to brake torque; pushing the pedal deeper never gave the feeling that stopping power got much better.
With new pads, yes they have much higher...
