Today I noticed the drivers side seat which is in it's furthest back point, is roughly 1.5" closer to the dash compared to the passenger seat. Did some searches but really came up with no exact explanation as to why. Any ideas?

2026 XLT FX4 with 2.3L, 3200 miles in So Cal with ALOT of hills and curves and not much highway.... PLUS I have a reasonably heavy foot from time to time, and I average exactly 22mpg.
I drive alot of miles in So Cal with lot's of bugs. Back in my offroad racing days we used a wiper with a spongy scrub pad attached... that was very beneficial to clear the splattered bug carcasses albeit small.
