I have the stock carpet... been wanting to properly protect the floor. I bought a set of cheesy ebay liners, the "perfect fit" missed the mark. I've almost picked up a set of the stock Ford Ranger liners, but to be honest the large "RANGER" standout goes against my stealthy preferred look.

I get it's 12 bucks, but all the youtube videos show these dampers have a S L O W movement.

Yes, Line-X does remove the tie down rings. I have the factory liner and they did not remove them. I'm sure in due time they'll look like like the coating is flaking off.

I believe you made the right purchase... the fixed panel in my EZ-Flip is probably twice as long as the Gen 3 to accommodate the torsion spring. When my EZ-Flip is resting against the cab, I lose a good 8" or 9" of bed space, where you probably lose half that much. Had I have known, I would not...

Today I noticed the drivers side seat which is in it's furthest back point, is roughly 1.5" closer to the dash compared to the passenger seat. Did some searches but really came up with no exact explanation as to why. Any ideas?

I have not seen a prop rod on a vehicle since my 73 Datsun 510. Clearly we have moved far away from them. A huge step backwards in my opinion. And considering the 10s of thousands of Ranger Struts sold, Others must agree!
