Since the new truck has a PLASTIC fuel tank covered by a PLASTIC "rock guard" I'm thinking I should install a gas tank skid plate.
Ford has MB3Z9K014H steel plate for $181 - I can order but is a non-returnable item so it sounds like it will be a hassle to return if it doesn't fit or turns out...
