That's what I did for my grill lights but I don't want these to stay on. Just when I unlock the doors and then they fade out like the interior lights. I'm putting white lights on mine so the wife can see better.

If the chances of something falling off from under the hood and bouncing just right to land where you found it, go buy some lottery tickets!!! 😁

My guess is it's an isolator located between the tank and skid plate. You should have 2 straps holding the tank on secured with bolts. I'd bet if you scoped around those straps, you might see another one installed on the other strap.

Thanks for that but I found what I needed. F150LEDs came through as usual. The only difference is that I clean the truck with acrysol very, very good. Then apply adhesive bond to the area and let it dry. As long as the strips have 3M VHB tape, they'll never come off until you take them off...
