I’ve been on the fence about this for a while, now. The other dimension to consider is the amount of offset, that no one seems to list on their specs.
I would think you could tweak the hangers a bit to allow for a little difference.
It sounds like you are looking for the same result as me...
I was hoping too, that someone would comment on the tone and sound level of the Ultra Flow on a 2.7.
These mufflers are available in 409 stainless, same as oem components and being “straight thru” should flow much better.
That may depend on your choice of mufflers. There are several YouTube videos of stock 2.7 F150s with resonator deletes. Most claimed very minor sound change and didn’t mention any drone issues. Good luck with your choices.
I had the resonator replaced with a Y-pipe and a Magnaflow muffler and retained the OEM muffler. Then I shortened the tailpipe and did a turndown dump. It sounds deeper and a bit louder. This old man is pleased with the results. Also, I didn’t care for the looks of the stock tailpipe, cleaner...
I always appreciate reviews on quality products and warnings against inferior products. Sounds like Redline makes a quality item.

There are several of these tips offered on EBay with various suffix letters. They say the fit late F150s which seem to use the same 80mm O.D. tailpipe as the Rangers. Anyone tried one?
It was hard for me to convince myself to stick something on to my paint, too. Now that I’ve done it, I love it.
As long as you follow the directions and take your time you’ll be fine. Also, get a helper. A couple of extra eyes helps a lot.
