The Explorer ST guys have spent a lot of time tweaking the transmissions on their rig. Many of them swear that filling the transmission to 2.5 or 3 on the dip stick makes a huge difference in shifting quality.

Had a Duramax a few years back and lost a tire to a spoon some transient had thrown in the road. The spoon had been run over several times and was all bent up when I hit it just perfect and took out a Toyo M/T.

I checked with them they are currently taking pre-orders for tanks here in the US and have a shipment leaving from Australia soon. They are about 1k cheaper than the long range America tanks but they are also made of polymer.
