Thanks everyone for your inputs! I have taken some of the suggestions and I have currently narrowed it down to 3 different options in 265/70R17:
- BF Goodroch KO3
- Falken Wildpeak R/T01
- Yokohama Geolander X-AT
I still got a while before it's time for new tires, but I still like to have the...
I decided I am going to go with this tonneau cover:
It has the T-slot rails for adding other accessories which at first I didn't really care about, until I saw this and liked the idea of having the storage compartments there:
I know it will most likely need to be modified a bit to fit...
First mod was tailgate letters!
Installed a Raptor style grille with the LED lights, as well as using FORscan to have the marker lights come on with the DRL's.
Nice! I ended up doing the Curt hitch as well, except instead of c-clamps I just grabbed some big bolts with nuts and washers for that spot, worked just as well!
I got a good deal on this specific truck, and I don't do anything that would require 4wd. I wanted a truck because sometimes I need to haul stuff around (not a lot of stuff at one time), I wanted to be able to pull a small trailer so I could load up my toolbox (diesel mechanic) if I need to, but...

While I won't need new tires for a while, I was looking at different (a bit bigger) sizes and the different tires...
I swear I have seen some Raptor grills where instead of it saying FORD it was all O's. I don't remember if I have seen one like that for the Ranger Raptor, but I have seen those grilles for the F150 Raptor, so maybe if one does not already exist someone will make it soon!
It was multiple pieces, the letters have to be put on (which is actually handy if you want to paint them), the lights have to be mounted in, and a few clips and trim pieces have to be attached, all of the hardware needed was included though.
The original grille is undamaged save for one of the...
Put it in last night while I was at work (diesel mechanic) and had some downtime.
I am really liking the look, I had thought about painting the FORD letters the same gloss black that is on a lot of the trim pieces on the truck, but I kind of like the contrast it has now.
Just waiting on the...
