The matrix, AKA glare free, headlamps turn off specific portions of the high beam LED’s when approaching oncoming traffic or pedestrians to prevent from blinding them, without fully shutting off the high beam every where else. It’s a pretty cool function really

I don’t believe they go through and just rewrite a few lines. I’m pretty sure they just re upload the entire tune even for just 1 line of code. If this is the case, that would rewrite the aftermarket programming and put stock logic back in
