Or you can shoot them with a clear coat that has UV protection. That's how I fixed cloudy plastic headlight housings. Sand them then hit them with an acrylic clear coat that had UV protection. Personally on a new vehicle I think PPF with UV protection is your best bet.

What did you use to black them out specifically?
