Hey! Thank you for the reply and bummer about Nacho, thought their whole thing was “buy from us! we’re the good guys”? Save $100 per light just to have to buy BDs later.. I wish that wasn’t the case but I’ve heard it so many times… I appreciate you sharing the first hand experience… at least now...
For those of you with both, have you ever upgraded fender flares on the bronco, then, just because you could, see if they match up even a little with the Raptor? I know the front take off is insanely higher because bumpers, qtr panels, and doors are wildly different, but what is it about the...
So my fight with the OEM donut gasket continues… I ordered a 3” V clamp off Amazon but it was too big even though the connection flares out to 3”, so I ordered a 2.75” and 2.5” that should arrive today.
I reluctantly reinstalled the gasket after I got a CEL, I also saw the passenger side...
After I installed my DSR downpipes, I took a quick test drive with my inner fender liners off, hard to quantify how much cooler the engine and the transmission operated but it was noticeable. I share @Lion77 ’s perspective that the hood vents were not designed as the primary cooling mechanism...
I thought about that.. but they’re $3500 plus install and I got my drivers side replaced and the FP tune installed for just over $2000…. Don’t worry! I’m saving up for the Cobb AP and your @Goosetuned magic as soon as I get back on my feet! Are you going to the Raptor rally in October?
They said it “ate something”.
It happened before I put my S&B CAI on. So it’s either the plastic tab that broke off on the top of the stock airbox or it was loose like jordantii (on the forum) then when the BOV port screws backed out some internal bracket from the CAI did it… I’m gonna find out…...
First, thank you to the forum member who ended up selling his Raptor and put these up for sale.
Second, the search continues for whatever destroyed my drivers side turbo. When I get around to buying and installing the Cobb intercooler I’m gonna check the stock IC for any debris or clues...
Reviving this thread because I got my truck back on Sunday. I did not have the same issue as @jordantii my noise was due to the driver’s side turbo “eating” something (see pic). They looked through all connected piping and could not find what broke loose or got sucked into the turbo. But they...
Yea I have to admit it’s slipped off when I had it just resting there and climbing into the truck more than once haha. And you’re right about the rear bolt length, it could be 10-20mm longer and still work fine. But I have gotten used to it, and I really like that it doesn’t block the back...
Then I would trust a brand that makes only/primarily hard rolling tonneau covers, I personally don’t think just because ford stamped it, it fits better. But at the end of the day, buy what you can stand to look at everyday, and works the way it’s supposed to every single time. Good luck! Please...
I’m extremely happy with my $400 trifold (mostplus or something like that). All depends on what you’re keeping back there and if you would rather chase dryness or easy on/off..
Did you @m.j.fry or @blu77 try to mount them via the tube mounts? Or is the Foutz light bar too big in diameter? I was really hoping that when I go this route I could end up with a staggered double row.
