I noticed nobody makes better turbo inlets without buying their intake and then having to buy a crossover. The best designed intakes IMHO are the twin filter, but they generally mount to stock inlets. I would think the inlets would be a priority over the filter box and turbo sounds.

Hey! I agree with you, one issue I’m trying to figure out is the crank case breather hose on the driver’s side turbo inlet. Even the Aussies over at PW instruct you to modify the existing hose for their 1” (unconfirmed as I don’t have that part) “S” tube. So if even those guys are butting heads with the OEM inlets, I don’t know who would be able to provide that solution. With the airbox, apparently the NA version has an additonal support bracket that requires the Fabulous Fabrication (the only dual filter airbox I’m aware of and also Aussie brand) airbox bracket to be grinded or modified to fit. I talked to @fullstrutt about the fitment of the airbox and was trying to figure out stock airbox spacing with the fab fab guys because I’m dying to get a stainless snorkel on mine with twin filters that go to their respective turbos… let’s make it happen! Starting with how to work around the PW drivers side turbo inlet haha since that’s what I need right now.

The intake will be one of my last mods. I like the ProAlloy intake (or make my own of similar design) because it uses the factory bottom section and wouldn't take much to make a cover, and/or punch out the outer side near washer filler for a bit more volume, or add a snorkel. Looks like it would be easy to add velocity stacks at filters like the honda boys run and 3" inlet pipes.

I'm running a dual catch can and not aware of any issues tying into the tubo inlet or intlet tubes for a vacuum source. Some cars have the recirc valve dumping closer to turbo and the PCV further away, but those generally MAF.

Given how small these turbos are, I cannot imagine 3.5" inlet ever needed, unless you like your car sounding like a shop vac. There are LS guys with 80+MM turbos running 4" single inlet to turbo, and 2.5-3.5" charge pipe expanding to 4" at the throttle body.
