The dealer sorted it out by replacing pretty much every gasket and bolt to get to the front cover. Leaking at 1 and 9 front cover bolts. I suspect, like others, they simply weren’t torqued correctly. I’m told they are done in two stages all bolts at once. Probably like some of the other hand...
I did highway miles MA to FL and back. At 110 it hit an electronic limit, cough, cough to 107. Highest 113. These tires and truck not suited for high speed highway use. But damn, so easy. Gotta re-think truck. I was running with a bmw and sti and had to think wtf am I doing? If you go...
Dealer provided some die for me to pour in, so when I do eventually get in, they can get right to work locating where from. Will carry an extra quart oil until they can get me in.
truck running 100%, just a pain that there’s a leak. Fingers crossed not rear main seal.
Before I hit dealership, does anyone know if the engine oil pan bolts can be tightened/gasket, or is one of those remove, clean RTV only bits?
I just did my second drain and fill after my first oil filter change and noticed oil dripping off of each of the oil pan bolts.
First oil change was...
The two most important things to remember are with direct injection you need a high quality LSPI/API SN+ Synthetic oil, and Clean oil = longer life. I’m using Valvoline Clean and Protect exclusively for the ford. Mobil 1 FS 0-40 for the LS3. Dealer does the Toyota, so regular Mobil 1 drain...
Got for Christmas, but not my thing. Blue silicone tow hook covers, front and rear. Full set of silicone mats for interior—honestly no clue where they all would go.
$20 + $9 shipping USA.
It folds up fine, so full use of back seat. Headrests off it’s pretty flat. I use a bucket bungee to the child seat ties to keep stuff put. I only wish it covered the rear panel and the gap where the jack and woofer are. I keep finding books and stuff in the gap.
Yeah, after car wash it was peeing out the 4 tubes at the frame line. The one over tank dribbles a bit, inside the plastic tank shield $4 for fittings, $6 for silicone hose.

Simple install, about 1.5 hours. I sacrificed the supplied shorter tubes to ensure the main drain drops to alongside the frame rail vs onto exhaust, insulation, wiring. Added Rain Bird irrigation and sprinkler 90 degree bends, like .98 each x 4. I also added, a section of 1/2"ID 5/8"OD...
I picked up a set of these. They unfortunately do not fit the US Ranger Raptor. The "next gen" raptor bumper is blockier, has two welded bolts on each side of tow hook to mount, and the bumper opening about 10mm wider at a slightly different angle. I am not sure if these will fit any other US...
This one probably best. Most now have shite music blaring. His intake pretty rad (less the blocked BOV). There was one with it driving by but cannot find it.

Saw this online, guy added trombone at mid-pipe, then a H pipe/crossover before stock muffler, then has the 2 coming out of stock muffler into a single 3.5" Sounds like a GTR or uncorked 911 turbo.
Please someone make this or offer a weld-in kit...
Has anyone tried this? Online vid shows install on a new tacoma and land cruiser, where the contactless connector just wraps onto the hi and low can wires--no cutting, or wasting the OBDII plug.
I've seen the high beam ones on a rally car, that would only trigger spots with high beam. Also...
