I don’t want to sound like a complete noob… but I am, so, does anyone have a good step by step guide to changing the fluids from a 2.3L Ranger? I’d like to get into some stuff on the truck but I don’t want to start by doing something completely wrong and damaging the engine.
Just took advantage of the Harbor Freight Parking lot sale and got the master set of 3/8, 1/2 sockets and the Master bit socket set along with a 3 ton jack. I’m super excited about getting some work done with my truck! Got a few projects I’m going to start working on too! Is it weird that I’ve...
I’m wondering if this means anything for the Ranger though. I’m curious if the plan is to phase out the 2.7 entirely for the 3.0. I’m also curious if the 3.0 is too similar in performance to the 3.5.
I have a 2026 Ranger XLT with the 2.3l engine. I found the Ford Racing 2024 Ranger 2.3L Ecoboost Calibration that cites its eligible for 19-26 Rangers. I’m just wondering if I would expect to be able to have this installed in my Ranger easily? Or if due to it not being 2026 will that give me issues?
I went with the Tyger Auto 6.6” Blade running boards. Super affordable, rugged, and looks great. I was originally going to go with the RB20’s but then I realized the Blades are very comparable in quality and much cheaper.
I got the 2.3. It’s been fantastic so far. I contemplated the 2.7 but the 2.3 is more than enough for what I’m using the truck for.
ChrisFix is awesome but I haven’t checked out Eric the Car Guy. Thanks for that recommendation! I was going to use ChrisFix’s video about hardwiring a dashcam to...
Gracias mi amigo!
I got myself some Tyger Auto running boards to help my wife get into the truck, the Husky Aeroskin 2 hood guard, a Muslogy Center Console cover and organizer, and Lasfit all weather floor mats so far. I’m planning on getting a spray liner in the bed too. I’ve also been looking...
I have a couple of great stands but my Jack didn’t survive my move to a new house. I’ve been eyeballing a couple of 4 ton Daytona ones at Harbor Freight so I might just pull the trigger and get one. Any good recommendations on a torque wrench? And for basic jobs, is there a priority on which...
ive got a decent 3/8th set and some basic tools. I didn’t want to go crazy buying things I didn’t need yet but that definitely makes sense! Thanks!
