ARE is the best fiberglass topper out there, and has a much better rear door (had the same on my 2019 too). But it's fiberglass so those are prone to cracking over time or rough roads. For around town it would be perfect. It also had side windows that I never used. The Westin is aluminum so...
I had a brand new color matched fiberglass ARE topper but I really wanted one of these. Somehow the stars aligned and I managed to sell the ARE and pick up a new Westin EXP. These are double walled and insulated aluminum that you need to assemble. Honestly the hardest part was unboxing...
Except
Except it does. You assumed they are the same in response to my post. I had a 2019 so I know they are not but I was asking about the MPC. Anyone else reading this thread could be mislead if they don't know which 2.3 they had. So again please stick to what you know not what you think...
Why do people who have the old 2.3 feel the need to comment on the new 2.3 MPC? If you've never seen one please don't assume you know anything about it.
Went to install the F-137N Fumoto valve and found it it needs an extension. I didn't measure it before I put it back together so does anyone know if the 1/2 extension is enough to clear the oil pan?
BTW - I used this exact one on my 2019 2.3 and it didn't need an extension. I would use the...
Carbonized gray is straight up gray and boring. At least the magnetic gray on my 2019 had some character. Not a fan of the Sand but between the 2 it's better. However Marsh Gray on my 25 looks better everyday. Even my wife thinks so and she initially didn't like it.
I was thinking silicone but that looks better. The topper bracket covers most of the gap so it should be pretty easy. Outside I used gorilla tape for the holes.
Didn't realize there were huge gaps at the front of the bed until after I put the topper on (the black bracket is for the topper). You can see daylight throught the hole (easy to fix) and the gap. There are holes along the front too but the bedrug will cover them. Wondering is anyone has...
Thanks, I see that now but they don't make it easy to understand. Love the truck but I hate the gas gauge too. Agreed it's not worth the Lariat upgrade price. Hopefully someone will develop an easier fix.
That's not what the OM says, so is the Lariat instrument cluster wider? I can't tell by pictures. I also have to think there should be some software upgrades for more options. It's just a computer screen...
I have a 2025 (July build) XLT FX4 with 301A "XLT high," and advanced tow/tech packages. I should have the 12" center display (screen measures just over 11" though) which is what Ford says is included with the 301A? The downloaded and in truck owners manuals shows there are different...
