Yes, we all did this before the 2019 Ranger was available. What we got though was a 10R80 transmission, Australian interior designed in 2012, faulty A/Cs, wallowy suspension, and then only 2/3 of the capabilities worldwide rangers got.
European Ranger Wildtracks also have a payload of 2,000 lbs and can tow over 7,000 lbs.
Makes you wonder why most F150s carry only/~ 1,500 lbs. Some cars can carry 2/3 of that.
The Ranger is so appealing with its smaller form factor. I wish it was better.
Visually, Ford has done a good job but, I don’t see anything about capacities.
If this truck can carry the standard ~1400 lbs as the last crew cab FX4, Ford means it when they say the truck is for active single or couples only.
If that is it’s capacity rating, this will not move two adults...
