My 2019 Ranger didn't require an extra brace for a topper but the 2024s do that's unacceptable.
Ford decided to save a couple of bucks during production so they can sell you the braces for $169. Ford just keeps piling on the reasons to quit buying their increasingly bad vehicles.
Most of the problems like this are design problems. If the clip designed to hold the trim in place isn't designed properly or made with the correct materials the trim will never stay in place.
I was paraphrasing Fords letter as a response back to Ford. Ford right now is focused on building EVs nobody can afford or really want at the expense of the ICE cars we do want. EVs are now starting to grow on dealers lots with interest falling off rapidly in EVs and being to expensive a long...
Everyone needs to send Ford back a email, Sorry you crutch of supply chain issues have caused us to go to Toyota of Nissan for a truck. Now here's or promise to never buy a poorly made Ford vehicle again we'll wave at your dealers as we drive by in or extended cab Tacoma.
All bullshit go to most Ford dealers and you'll find rows of F150's with high msrp's and very high adms. Constraints are a crutch not to build low profit vehicles thats why lots of people have waited nearly two years trying to get a Maverick. And absenteeism or so called shortages haven't kept...
When the CEO of Ford makes $ 21 million dollars a year and the company made 23.66 billion dollars last year I would damn sure want in on the money being made.
Looks like Ford is trying to kill themselves not building anymore 2023 Mavericks nine month or more for a Bronco and maybe a year on a 2024 Ranger. I see Toyotas midsize truck market increasing and Rangers shrinking immensely. Come on Ford its time to quit using supply chain issues as a crutch...
Again be forced to have packages you don't want I don't like the looks of the sport appearance package and the chrome package raises the price. Also the configutor I'm using only has the 2.3 engine. Looks like Ford really doesn't care If the sell many Rangers with this pricing and no supercab.
That's an interesting thought maybe the Everest will replace the Edge in Ford's line up. Ford has already said that the Edge was gone after the end of the present gens life cycle.
