Going to pick up my Truck in about 2 hours. They completed the new driveshaft replacement and have since road tested, and my Service advisor took it for a short drive (heat of the day) and did not have issues. I live about 15 miles away and it'll be nice and warm so time will tell!
UPDATE Today 04/23:
The first crappy dealer 'fixed' the creaking noise on the interior. they had it all apart again, then brought me over and 'claimed' that my bed cover clip (rollup soft top) was pushed down between the body and the window, and that was causing the creaking. I got home and...
Thanks again to all that have poured sweat and expletives, and for coming up with this write up. Many expletives were expressed. Last picture is the extra 4 bolts needed (come in pack of 4)...
UPDATE: Waiting to speak with dealer service dept#1 GM to fix my headliner creaking after recall.
I also spoke to the next dealer 20 miles away, they have heard of the CV boot issue on broncos and agree that what I described is NOT related to the exhaust. I am on a loaner waiting list and their...
Hey all,
Figured I would start a thread here. I searched the forums for mention of this and only found the brake boost chirping sounds.
2025 XLT 2.3L, purchased 8/23/25, 6000 miles, never been off road yet. City miles only.
After the truck is warm, either under load or coasting, there is a...

I was going to go the route of just loosening and using a jack. It sounds like your suggestion and best practice is to remove and clean etc, then re-torque. Is that correct? Marking the bolts to start is a must of course, but I want to make sure this is done right especially since...
Funny you mention that. The bronco guys are fabbing up $10-20 heat shields with reported success. I am handy enough to do the same if it comes down to it. I didnt get a good look under the truck yet though to see if its as close as the broncos are, on those the CV boot is almost kissing the...
Yea I was as well, got tired of the mail and notifications and emails..... I asked them nicely to take care of my truck, its literally brand new still. 6000 miles, got it very end of August 25.
I go to recreate the chirping sound and while I was waiting for the Shop Foreman, I checked the...
That is totally my bad. I went off another post that had multiple ford part #s listed and they described those as being the ones for the steps. I knew when I got them they were too small.
I was able to order these directly from ford and these are the right ones ;)
I have not had a chance to...
