What is your driving style like? Heavy footed or what you would call standard? In stock trim I was getting 21-23mpg at 75mph. City I would get 18-20mpg. If you try to get good mpg and it still sucks then i'd look into it further. Anything is possible so don't write it off.
Hey! Do you think a 285/75 will fit with the 3" lift? The diameter of your tires are 32.8 and id like to go to a 33.9" K02. Does it look like you could squeeze another inch in there without any contact?
Thanks!
My factory wheels are banged up from just one summer of trails so hopefully I can find some that are less exposed. I’ll start looking for wheels and tires with a balance between an hope they fit!
Thank you!
How likely is it to fit a 34” tire with no crash bars and a 3.5” lift? Would it have issues when off road in articulation? Haven’t seen anyone else run the size you are going with.
Thanks!
I’m just talking about the very front one under the radiator. Only want to keep it because the color matches the trim on the truck. I’d like to get the oil pan and trans pan skid plates and keep the front factory radiator one.
Ill be installing the Stage 5 kit next weekend.. after reading about the issue of getting the bolt in place im a bit worried now haha. Ill have to give it a good fight and see what happens.
Love seeing the saber color out in the wild. I haven’t personally seen another saber truck in my area.
Here are some of mine doing a little stretching in the mountains.
CarPro Ceramic coating checking in here.. took me about 4 hours. I even did my plastic trim (potential trigger for some people) on the mirrors and bumper, headlights, glass as well as wheels and fender edges. Snow didn’t even stick in this lasted storm we had.
Road noise is nonexistent. The ridge grapplers are designed to be quiet and they are definitely just that. Compared to the stock tires they are the same sound level.
I think any synthetic will hold up well. Only thing I would like to see is how certain brands hold up in a tuned engine. Higher pressures, temperatures, fuel exposure, etc. Those conditions are what shorten oil life. Furthermore, with using methanol injection it is critical to have an oil that...
Amsoil will be the life blood of my truck. Ordered 0w-30 signature and 75w-90 for the front and rear diff’s. Will be changing all of this at 2k miles initially and then engine oil once ever 6 months or 10k miles.
