It appears to be a fatigue failure. Meaning the initial stress happened several launches ago and it eventually let go on your 2H launch. If the 2H launch caused it then it would be a clean break.
So Ford has your order. The next step is for the dealer to have allocations so it can get scheduled. So your communication should be with the dealer as to when they expect to be able to get it scheduled. Ford can’t give you a build date if the dealer hasn’t done their part yet.
FWIW my 2022 Tremor with the 2.3L Ecoboost has a foam sound damping panel mounted over the injector area beneath the intake manifold. Maybe this has been deleted on the 6G’s?

I’m also hoping for a PHEV Ranger ( we also have an Escape PHEV). My gut tells me that not having a US sourced battery that meets the tax credit criteria is part of the reason for not seeing a US version yet.
Even if you special order a XL,XLT or Lariat they will most likely show up on the dealers website long before the even ship. It’s a Ford thing that’s out of the dealer’s control and was confirmed by my dealer when I special ordered my 22 Tremor.
I’m still convinced the delay to the US is because of battery sourcing/tax credits. Also anxiously waiting to see what happens with it for the US market.
