Currently Running the following on my NEXT GEN Ranger and also ran them with the standard suspension setup before I did a lift with no issues.
WHEELS - CSA 18x8 +35 offset (standard factory +55 offset)
Tires - BF Goodrich K02 LT265/70R18 (same diameter as Raptor 285/70R17) (scope to increase to...
Ranger Next Gen 6G Bolt Pattern: 6×139.7 Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) with a 55mm wheel offset, this is the same for all 5G & 6G Rangers & Ranger Raptor, except FX4 & Wildtrack X which have different wheel offsets. All Bronco's use the same Bolt Pattern (PCD) and wheel offsets, except I think...
So to answer your first question, I ran 265/70R18 BFG KO2 with 35mm wheel offsets on a 6G ROW ranger with no issues and others have run different width tires with smaller offsets without any suspension changes. I now have a full ARB BP51 setup on my vehicle. with raises front by 35mm and my...
They are different steering racks between Ranger and Ranger Raptor, have different motor sizes, different steering arm lengths, and different rack travels as the IFS geometry's are completely different and so are the track widths, but look the same. Bronco's steering rack is similar but again is...
The reason that the rear end of a Ranger sits higher than the front is due to it being designed to have a payload in the rear tub. The Rangers have around 80mm of rise to kerb from GVM depending on the model and this is so when its fully loaded the rear end does not look like its dragging on the...
All good , we are all here to share and learn.
If you can get the AUX Switches like the Raptor as an option I would do this as it will be fully wired in as part of the wiring with the AUX fuse box, as shown in the attached image and is fully covered by Ford warranty.
If you go the Ford AUX...
To use the AUX switches that the Raptor comes with, you need to use a different headline. Here in Australia you can only get those AUX switches when you order the premium pack that includes the matrix headlights and a subwoofer also. Hopefully they allow you in the US to order them seperate. I...
If you go with the 10" it will allow you to add an aftermarket AUX switch panel below the the screen, where the 12" does not allow for this, so you have to look at other options for placing AUX switches.

The diesel powered 4x4's has a lot to do with the farming world here in OZ, were farmers could run all their vehicles on diesel and get tax breaks. So they would have farming equip, 4x4 Utes and the old family high end EU vehicles running on diesel, that they would fill up from 44Gal drums...
It's a bit early to make judgement on a vehicle that's not even in customers hands yet. Plus releasing of all models in the total Ranger model range at job 1 is just not feasible, Ford is never going to do it or would any other manufacture.
What I can tell you is if you stand back and look at...
Good to see Ford stepping up to the plate and joining this Forum, but remember it's all about the good, the bad and the ugly in this Forum. So it's not just about commenting that's a nice colour, it's about Technical info sharing etc. and taking feedback and improving the product. So hopefully...
Agree totally a lot of wastage! Everest was benchmarked against Prado, but with the watts link. Would have been much better off-road vehicle with the Panhard, found the Everest I had lacked good rear end wheel travel when off-road. Why they didn't offer the disconnect stab bar off the Bronco is...
It looks like it's spring on shock, so it will be more Ranger Raptor based using an Everest based rear axle for track width. Will not be an Everest based suspension as the spring is seperate and the shock mount is different and so is the basic suspension geometry. Bronco geometry is very similar...
Good Pickup on the rear suspension, makes sense if they are going to manufacture the Bronco in China. As the Bronco & Ranger Raptor ladder frame & Suspension are very similar. Would make the manufacturing process much easier. Guessing the Ranger is going to be targeted more towards the adventure...
That only relates to the V6 Diesel, which I'm pretty certain will not go into the US 6G Ranger.
Same Diesel engine that was in the F150 which was discontinued, but it has a different turbo and for some reason the turbo drain pipe which drains back into the block has cracked at the turbo...
Sorry for the long answer.
Generally when you change out the UCA its to recover your Camber/Caster/Srub Radius etc. due to increasing the ride height of the suspension (droop). I wouldn't change the UCA unless I was doing this, as it makes no real sense on a standard OEM suspension like a Ranger...
Totally agree!
But the Ranger Raptor is meant to be the baby brother of the F150 Raptor
The Next Gen 6G Ranger Raptor here in Australia has a GCM of 11840 lbs and a GVM of 6900 lbs, so when you do the sums you end up with a ATM of what ever you tow being around 4940 lbs ,so its possible to get...
