Currently, my truck is in production and the windows sticker does not show anything about Auto Start-Stop. BUT... my order details under Accessories shows Auto Start-Stop Removal
If you are interested in MPGs... TFL did an MPG comparison video with the Ranger and other new mid-size trucks recently. They drove an XLT FX4 with the General Grabber AT tires (which appear to be more aggressive than the Goodyear Wranglers) and managed 26.0 MPG on a 110-mile loop around Denver!
Yea... especially the smaller screen... that gray plastic that the screen sits in reminds me of the TV surround on the GIANT 27" tube TV I had in the early 90s! Just supper ugly.
I have seen a couple video reviewers that were testing XLT FX4s that had General Grabber ATs on them. But so far, all of the photos of FX4s that members have received are sporting the Goodyear Wranglers. IMHO, the Grabbers look FAR better and more aggressive than the Wranglers.
My wife's new Atlas is the same way... Apple Car Play connects fine wirelessly one day, then the next day won't connect until you try it a half a dozen times then other days won't connect at all.
My window sticker showed up one week (last Friday) before my blend date (This Friday 4/12). I just checked today, and my tracker shows as "In Production"! Yay!
For those of you that already have your non-raptor trucks... I saw in a video (I think the person posting it is a member here) that the Raptors have a license plate bracket that allows you to mount it to pre-drilled holes under the bumper.
Do the non-Raptors have a similar setup so that you...
Hopefully it's just a QC issue that has been rectified. The AU and EU markets have already been beta testing our new trucks (more or less) for a couple of years now. I would think that the majority of the critical issues have been resolved by now.
Did I ready this correctly... " The Ranger’s back seat backrest doesn’t move"? I am pretty sure in every video review I have seen, the backseat backrest folds down flat over the seat cushions.
Someone above mentioned ADP. My company uses ADP as our HR/payroll processor so I thought I would check to see what discounts are available to me. I don't see the X-Plan, but it does look like I can get a slight discount by going through the ADP/TrueCar buying program. For giggles, I went...
For those that have received your trucks, have any of you had issues with the dealer tacking on dealer "Add-ons" without your permission? Such as nitrogen, VIN etching, etc.
Did any of you specifically ask your dealer to NOT put additional Add-ons on your truck after they received it?
Just...
I wonder if it just affects vehicles that are scheduled to be built that week or all scheduled builds? I am scheduled for April 8th, so hoping mine gets through without the constraint headaches!
I also ordered Advance Tow. I was originally scheduled for Feb. 12, but ot bumped to April.
I ordered the XLT FX4 which (according to the configurator) gets off-road tires (or all-terrains for additional cost). In the more recent videos and photos of XLT FX4 packages, it appears that they have replaced the Goodyear Wranglers (which some have mentioned as the factory tire) with the...
This is a pretty good video by the boys at TFL. A couple of observations...
The Ranger looks HUGE compared to the Frontier.
Cactus Gray (the color I ordered) looks amazing with the FX4 wheel and tire package.
I love the old school look of the Frontier, but after owning two of the previous gen...
I am sure this has probably been answered somewhere on this site, but since these are now starting to roll out... does anyone know the average time from "in production" to "built" and the average time between "built" and "shipped"?
