Exactly, I was just talking about in terms of MPG. People think smaller engine equals less fuel used and that is simply not true.

What do you expect from an engine making over 400 lb/ft of torque? Power requires a lot of air, and a lot of air requires a lot of fuel. Displacement means nothing. It's all about how much power an engine is making.

To be fair, NONE of the small turbo engines are good for fuel economy. See Ford's multiple EcoBoost lawsuits for evidence.
