I think you may be missing the point… you can place value on money, but there are other things that we value other than money. I plan on using the rr to travel and explore and camp with friends. Is there a value on that opportunity cost..? Not for me.

I work in sales, so as a salesperson I know, unless you have skin in the game, they don’t treat you as seriously. i also got a small gift for the rep for getting me the first allocation at a reasonable mark up as a thank you.

Just left my dealer, order banks not yet open, but I insisted on leaving a deposit and my order spec.

Can you confirm the order banks are opening Friday? @Ford Motor Company I am tired of not getting any real details to plan out my day. I will get fired if I keep blocking off days on my calendar XD

Has anyone heard back from their dealer on whether or not Order Banks still open on Friday? Can't find any concrete dates, nor is my dealer giving me that much information. I live an hour away from my dealers, so would love to save a drive over Friday at opening if possible.

I don’t think it’s worth seeking a trade in valuation until you take delivery, the used car market will be very different by the time these roll off the plant. So when delivery is about a month out is when I’d prob ask the dealership to discuss trade in as an option, then maybe try and sell...

Im in the same boat as you, but in california. I called a few dealerships already, with one telling me I wouldn’t be getting an allocation period. At the same time, I’m ok with a slight adm, as time has value, if I’m not waiting a year, I may determine the adm is worth it 🤷‍♂️
