If you want an order allocation, just start calling within the range you are willing to drive/fly to and make your offer over MSRP. This is how Ford operates.
Yup. Every major dealer in Houston is charging $10k+. Just keep saving the money you would have spent on a payment. I went from wanting to trade in, to now no trade in, to next year or the year after just being able to buy it outright.
New allocations hit some of my dealer this month. I got a few calls and the prices went from $10k over to $20k over MSRP this month. I waited 10 years for a RR. I can wait another 10 or just buy a Tacoma.
Seems to depend. In my area, dealers have two lists. People who want to pay more and people who want to pay MSRP. The dealers in my area seem to be offering MSRP orders, but are prioritizing people willing to pay over. Top spot at two dealers I've talked with had voluntary $10k/$20k over msrp...
Pretty sure everyone on this thread has been waiting for a generation. Congrats on your relationship building? How'd you do it? Buying cars every year? Sending flowers? Cookies? Long walks on the beach? Hah, jokes aside, every sales rep I've talked to has moved on (either to pre-owned, other...
One said one, the other said two, both said they were sold. Lying or not, everything is sold to people who have cash to burn atm.
Also, I'm not so quick to call someone whose misinformed a liar. These are sales reps, they don't always get the right facts. I'd be more akin to call someone a liar...
Two massive dealers near me got a total of 3 allocations. Lol. One was presold to someone who offered $10k over sticker for an 18 year old's bday present. Soooo, we will see. I'm not going to pay over sticker yet. I am not that desperate for one. I have a bike and a car, my wife has an SUV. We...
Unless it's rear AC, which can maybe be added later, I am not actually missing any features really... I am less concerned about bugs / reliability since this is basically the 2023 model updated to make the rear passengers suffer more.
I am planning to buy now as I'd like to avoid a price hike.
Of all the features, I didn't think they would omit rear air. One of the reasons why I am buying a truck at all is because of the need for passengers (specifically a very small one), aside from the other 'want' for some mild pickup utility.
I didn't actually think the one thing that would halt...
Plan thus far:
Registering here, emailed every Ford dealership in the area with 4.5+ Google stars, and tried to form a connection with a sales rep who wants someone with a day 1 cash down order.
Then trying to figure out how to offload my C6 either trade in, auction, or private sale (It's...
