Funny you say that. If you get under the truck and look where the rod extension goes, the guide tube is the same color and similar shape to the fuel filler funnel. They almost could have used the same part for both tasks.

Forgot to add, I also put mine on a trickle charger, but only if I know the truck is going to sit for a while or if the weather is cold. I haven't paid attention to MyView while it's on the charger so I'll have to do that. My default view is tire pressure with tire temps.
