Agree, their behavior during the strike was bizarre. Not a single āhang in thereā communication, nada, nothing. Never saw a multi billion dollar company so inept in retaining orders. I cancelled mine and they could care less. Are they trying to fail?
Itās due to the EV market, the big brands were āencouragedā to kill off diesels because they compete too much and are superior to EVs. That is from the horseās mouth. They cost way less and with a green diesel tune kit, my mini Duro 4X4 is now kicking out 32 City and 40 Hwy, loaded.
Yep. Here is what I have found so far: Iām getting 20 mpgs city, believe that is higher than the Ranger. The repair issues are old news. That V6 is listed as one of the most reliable 6ers out there and with a low maintenance cost, one of the few gas engines that will go past 200,000 miles...
I went with a ā23 Gladiator, love it so far. More room in the back seat than the Ranger, and has a V6 that can be supercharged post warranty to kick out Raptor like power. Came with 33s and lots
of off road equipment that would have added a lot if Ford added themā¦Also got 20% off MSRPā¦.
I'm bailing too, really need a 179 write-off this year, and my Ranger is not scheduled yet so there is no hope. I'm looking at Gladiators, they are running some great discounts right now....
Oh sureā¦. thatās not the way it works. Somebody always pays for this economic approach, and in this case, it will be the consumer now paying $100,000 for a $45,000 Ranger. One problem: they wonāt and you can kiss the auto market goodbye. Now apply this concept across every market segment as...
You literally said Americans claim they invented democracy... but in any event, you speak of Americans in third-person so perhaps you are not from here...
Too harsh of an example, attempted humor, sorry. And no, not a stretch for a majority, but I thought it would come in around 70% support as maybe 30% would not want a haircut in pay at this time...
Perhaps sooner, thatās far less than the $4k-$10k they make per month now, huge pay reduction, many members will not be thrilled. How long is it for them to break even on the new pay deal after taking a hit like that?
Agree, the new UAW head wanted to strike from the beginning of ānegotiationsā not even responding to Ford offers at times. Heās trying to make a political name for himself to set up a run for office, just an opinion, donāt need any so called āpro laborā ppl on this forum to freak outā¦
I wonder how many total ā24 Ranger orders there are to date, as well as the RR. That is the the missing factor that would make this info more relevant. I mean if they have 100,000 orders in and they are doing 15-25k/mo, split with the Bronco, thatās still a year out on the tail end of ordersā¦.
I changed from carbonized gray to silver after visiting a Ford Dealer and looking at the carbonized in person. It had the slightest dirt on it and looked bad. Cleaned up looks great but I donāt like daily or even weekly washings. I owned a couple of silver vehicles and they looked great after...
