EBC pads are notorious for melting. If you are going to swap pads, I suggest you switch to a reputable brand.
Edit: I already know I am going to get some hate for this comment, so let me head it off. Yellow stuff pads are their aggressive street, light track use pads. A lot of people find they...
Can you post a pic of the harness itself laid out?
I'm guessing it has a relay with one side going to the lights, one to the switch, and one for battery and ground?
If so, the lights portion needs to stay intact. The battery (red) needs to go the battery. Ground (black) needs to go to ground...
Update: the Rigid brackets are GTG. Thick material and fit well. This is the 2019-2023 Ranger Rigid light kit from Ford with the Rigid brackets for the 2024+ Ranger (the brackets for the 2019-2023 will not fit).

@Ford Motor Company,
Can I assume misfires on these...
Update: while I haven't experienced any more issues while driving, P0300 and P0316 have come back twice more, once at 8,745 miles and then again at 11,050 miles.
8,745 was when I was on my road trip in California, unsure of fuel brand. 11,050 was just the other day using QT gas.
Scheduled to...
