nope, it’s not from the inside. You just wedge it from the outside. Be careful, my friend broke a guide clip, and I also broke it. It’s not a problem, but it will happen because when you wedge it, it’s hard to come out both at the same time. I uploaded a video so you can understand it better...
The car with the red belt its not mine, its from a friend here from Brazil, actually its not red. The company who makes them, starts with a white belt and dye them to match exactly the code orange accents from the interior.
LoL Nice to know that it works fine for single zone. Maybe it means that it's a bug, because even if it's dual zone, there is only one fan setting for both zones. Only the temp can be configured different for left and right.
The weirdest thing is that they already make you “maximize” HVAC when syncing both sides or choosing where the air is coming from. The feature is already there.
That is the less odd thing about these controls. I see no sense in having both physical controls for the same feature. They are redundant and takes up to 1/4 of the screen if you consider the line of icons that I personally never used as I always use CarPlay. I really wished ford would let us...
So I asked them once more and they said that it's the Steel Clips that holds the plastic trim (black cover) in place. They have a spring effect, so they bent the clips outward a little bit so they would have more strength holding the trim in place.
I got the car back today, the dealership solved it, I asked them what they did and their answer was "we put more pressure on the retaining clips". I hope it helps you solving it.
Thanks for the video! I was the one who commented on YouTube about the 12 o’clock TC thing. You inspired me to mount my wheel and cockpit on the living room again to practice and perfect it on a safe environment LoL
It’s completely nonsense. Sometimes it stays active for days, sometimes it resets on the next morning. Keep trying. It happens with a few friends too!

"Hi, I am also going crazy trying to figure out the cause of this annoying noise. Even if I pull the handle, I don't hear it anymore. Before the Raptor, I had a RR Evoque with the same problem. I solved the issue by dismantling the trim and putting foam insulating tape on all...
It did not go away without the trim. The only way I can make it go away is having the rear passenger grab handle in place and pulling it while driving! It looks like it something in between the body panels.
I thought I was being picky, but on my local Ranger Raptor group, I heard other complaints about it.
There is a very subtle clicking noise coming from the drivers seat belt column, but as it is so close to the ear, it's easily heard. If I pull hard on the handle for the rear passenger, the noise...
Hey, thanks for the idea. One quick question, how do you safely remove the speaker cover? I forced it up, but it bent more than I was confident to keep going. From the looks of the picture is seems to have side clips.
No áudio here eventually as well. Quick tip: holding volume down and next track for a few seconds on the steering wheel, resets the sync4 screen and everything starts working again. No need to stop the car.
Does Anyone know any available online parts catalog that has an easy browsable visual diagram of the parts for our 2024 rangers? I know that dealers search for parts that way and I am very interested in having a solution like that.
thanks!
