RR Ford tailgate badge

Has anyone removed the RR OEM Ford tailgate badge to paint (to get rid of the chrome!).
If so, how and how were your results? Pics?

I assume access through the tailgate and clips with double sided tape?

I gotta do something about the chrome.

nope, it’s not from the inside. You just wedge it from the outside. Be careful, my friend broke a guide clip, and I also broke it. It’s not a problem, but it will happen because when you wedge it, it’s hard to come out both at the same time. I uploaded a video so you can understand it better:
