For me, the Lariat Sport was the obvious choice. I like everything about the truck but two things: the console organizer and the rear seat headrests. (They don’t fold so you can drop the seat for flat storage.) I see lots of posts where people are trying to add all the things that come standard...
Mine was a March build as well. Two issues: the bezel ring was missing on the drive modes switch and an AC line was not assembled correctly. Approaching 10k miles now. 2.3L. Wouldn’t change a thing. Only complaint is the rear headrests don’t fold so that you can lay the seat back flat...
You’ll definitely appreciate the steps. My 2.3L Lariat now has 9k miles and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. I added all the options you could get on a 2wd. You’re going to catch yourself smiling sometimes when you walk out of the office and see it in the parking lot.
The guys at American Trucks were really helpful and answered all my questions on the MX. I don’t plan to invest $’s on j-braces so the absence of T-rail slots is not a big deal for my use. They had the best price for the RetraxPro MX that I’ve seen online. Placed the order Sunday afternoon and...
Recharging the ac worked for about a month. This week, it’s blowing coolish air out of the left two vents and warm air out of the right two vents. I’m at 2,000 miles now and planning my second trip to the dealer. Gotta be some type of control system glitch. It’s very inconvenient.
Visited with my brother-in-law today. We parked our Fords side by side and took a pic! 1929 Model A and 2024 Ranger Lariat. I think they are both sweet rides.
Local dealer replaced the drive mode controller today and charged the AC system. No sign of leaks. Both issues probably from no process controls in production. Hope the AC thing is not going to be a recurring problem like @jrRaptor has.
Last week I noticed the drive mode knob in my Lariat was looking especially cheap and ugly. Found some pics online and it appears the factory failed to install the bezel (see pic). My dealer jumped right on the problem and I’m dropping the truck off tomorrow to get the controller replaced...
Tracker shows truck shipped on 4/30. I tracked it with the CSX phone process through Toledo and Louisville. It arrived in Nashville (rail destination) on 5/4 at noon. Now it’s disappeared from tracking again as we wait for a truck to bring it home to Mississippi. My buddy/owner at the...
My blend date was 3/13…produced 3/14 then held pending some update for six weeks. Today it was loaded on a CSX rail car that is currently still in Wayne. Hopefully it will start its journey South this week. Ordered 9/11/23.
Mine was pending update from 3/14 until 4/17. Received notice that it’s built and ready for shipping. The text came at 2a Monday and an email followed later in the day.
