Wow, this is interesting...I talked to Juicy a few moths ago when they were moving from Georgia to Texas, (now there in utah?) and they actually offered me a job with them doing engine swaps...as I've completed the ONLY Predator powered Bronco and could add offer additionalinformationand...
The 35s were nearly warn out at 50K miles , so time for new tread...wife loves the color matched raised lettering. Far quieter than the Nittos.
Snagged 37x12.50r17 Kenda Klevers.
Still only lifted 1.6" front and 1.2" rear with top hat strut puck spacers.
Great Find!!! These are definitely superior to RC with the internals being metal instead of plastic!!! I'll be ordering two sets next week, one for RRaptor and one for V8 Bronco on 41s.
Bronco rack is 74weld, so no issues except for the mild "clunk" from excessive pinion tolerance. The RC tie rods are Strong HOWEVER THE PLASTIC CUPS SEEM TO WEAR TOO FAST. The Ranger Raptor has some play that wont go away with more grease. And RC is refusing to warentee another set. Fuck...
Being off by .4 is no big deal. And it's likely because Ford's algorithm does not use the actual full tank's capacity in the algorithm. Instead, it uses, i'm a more realistic number that people would fill their tank to like ninety five percent of the tank's capacity. Also, what is the number of...
Here's the problem you're only doing one of the changes that's necessary to make this change. After you adjust the tank size. You also need to change the" fuel level source"...to IPC.
Here's proof
Not yet, the Bronco ford performance rack 3.0 is on the purchase list this month ...I created the rack hack so the programming is available for free. ( well almost, you need forscan $12, and a mongoose adapter $250-600 and a 2 day fdrs subscription $125)
I do have the stock OEM toothpicks available, they only have a few hundred miles on em.Because as soon as I bought the truck, they were the first thing to come off. Contact me in a pm and I'll send you one.
This will be fun...after doing the Predator 5.2 swap (myself) in my Bronco 2dr, my wife is so impressed and So jealous and says "we gotta do the Rrappy next"!!! 🤣😅😂🤑 maybe I can sell her 3.0 to one of the bronco guys🤪
SO ....Im on the hunt for another 5.2 Raptor R engine...last swap only took...
On the Bronco 6g forum, couple of guys are considering using the 2.7 manifolds with port injection on the 3.0, for getting more fuel. Uncertain, if you would need to use the 2.7 p c m
Im using Rough cuntry tie rods from Broncos, they have super long adjustable threads that allow for the wider width of the Rnager RAPTOR. Super beefy and GUARANTEED
And ordering the ford performance 3.0 rack this month as well!
While I mostly agree that 3.0 is an excellent engine especially with the Ford performance tune. What I totally hate about it the turbo lag that is a very apparent when you punch the throttle and then release it momentarily and then reapply the throttle there's a very apparent hesitation or lag...
Hello all, I have both the ranger Raptors and a 21 Bronco...I decided to install the 700HP Predator 5.2 supercharged V8 from a F150 Raptor R into the Bronco. took six weeks but its a success! hers a video of the first start... since the Ranger and the Bronco are of such similar architecture and...
Shit your right!!!, SORRY I missed the picture and took off on a rant....my apologies. Very nice looking Ranger Raptor you have there! the bump stops look very functional.
Uh yeah it is, anytime you add to the springs compressed rate, the spring rate IS CHANGED. Let me say it in a different way under full compression your spring is now compressed more than OEM. In my opinion the OEM shocks have a too stiff of a spring as it is already the last thing I would want...
Your logic just makes no sense here especially on this site, as the ranger Raptor was developed First in Thailand and then later released to North America after all the bugs were worked out. This is been a typical rollout of several Ford vehicles over the past years, and will continue to be the...
