  1. How are you guys liking your KO3's? Got a set coming....

The RR's running boards do a good job of stopping a lot, mudflaps would help a ton as well. Anything that's not going to fling a log of gravel is likely not going to be great in other conditions we see like rain, snow and the place this truck belongs, fast, dirty off-roady-type stuff.
  2. How are you guys liking your KO3's? Got a set coming....

Lots of opinions in this thread, including mine: https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/ko3s-in-slick-conditions.10619/post-402446
  3. Would you trade your current Ranger Raptor for a 5.0 Coyote version?

That would be a Mustang. They already make them. You're welcome. 😂
  4. What did you do WITH your 6G Ranger today?

Love that area, used to go to the West Point range just to drive the M3 around the roads.
  5. Would you trade your current Ranger Raptor for a 5.0 Coyote version?

I wouldn't go for a Coyote, which I thought I would previously, but I would for the Godzilla. Big HP and torque without a supercharger or turbo. LOVE the V8 rumble and it's about the only thing (other than ventilated seats) that I really, REALLY wish the Ranger Raptor had. I have often...
  6. IAG Off-Road Ranger Raptor Complete Underbody Skid Plate System – Looking for Testers

Have had no issues with ventilation, everything running at same temps as pre-install. I have not pulled them down to inspect or clean as I don't do much in the way of running in the mud.
  7. What did you do WITH your 6G Ranger today?

LOVE that color. Don't see many of them around.
  8. Wannabe Baja Racer RR

Yeah, good to know that you could make it over some pretty rough terrain but it's not my idea of a fun time.
  9. Like or Dislike Adaptive Cruise Control?

I had both of the above situations happen and I haven't used it since. For the second one, was coming up on a slow moving vehicle, moved over to pass and the nanny decided to throw out the anchor...which would have been aggravating if that was it, however there was a semi barreling down the...
  10. What did you do WITH your 6G Ranger today?

Thank you for your service. I'm familiar with the demands that being a good military man entails and am most appreciative of those that choose to sacrifice for the rest of us.
  11. Let’s Talk Extended Service Plans / Warranty For Our Trucks

All this time I thought it was "Grainger." Turns out its "Granger." I've never been one to keep vehicles for long at all but I do plan to have this one for quite a few years. I just can't get myself to finish the page for the extended warranty though. Geez, they're spendy!! With the mileage...
  12. RAPTOR ASSAULT!!

If you think of it, I'd love to know what they recommend the students do when you stop after a session; let the engine run for a bit, allegedly to let the oil cool down enough so it doesn't cake up in the turbos, or other stuff like that to do when parking after long or spirited driving stints.
  13. Any Regrets on Procal FP Tune?

No regrets at all. Not only is it a nice and noticeable increase, especially in the midrange punch, but gas mileage hasn't suffered at all and you don't negatively effect warranty or durability that I have seen. I waited until guys had it for over a year to see if there were any big issues...
  14. Stupid question - cell phone holder.

See Shrek's post for the link to the company. Post #8
  15. Stupid question - cell phone holder.

Really happy with the Tackform as it's super simple to install, can just as easily be removed and gives a lot of real estate to move the mounts around to where you want.
  16. Wannabe Baja Racer RR

Another duplicate to have an almost good video finding a new spot to buzz around. Need a friend for camera work, a remote mic to hear the exhaust, a recording that keeps going and doesn't stop on its own and better editing to eliminate the dead time. However, it was a lot of fun. Would be more...
  17. When should I expect to need to service the Fox shocks?

I don't know, for how well they do everything, having to service them isn't a negative for me. With traditional shocks, you'd have to change all four to do make changes I can do with a switch, 100s of times, without getting out of my seat.
  18. When should I expect to need to service the Fox shocks?

The only thing I'm unsure about is if any "reprogramming" has to be done upon reinstall.
