Don't overcomplicate it, all you need are simple fuse taps to run to the cabin fuse box. I can't remember which one I tapped, I just remember using the fuse box info to select one that's hot after ignition. There are also plenty of other resources available like this one. Hope it all works out!

Driving in "Sport Mode" disables it. The next time you start the truck it will ask you "Do you want to return to Sport Mode" and press OK on the steering wheel. I understand it's not exactly what you're looking for, but it's the closest thing next to disabling with FORScan.

Yes, 139 was the best option under the hood as it is tapped to the running lights and only hot when the key is on. (Not remote start) And I don't know of any that are linked to the main headlights, but 139 suited my needs as I wanted them on with the DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)

Just a standard Micro 2 tap. And, yes, I don’t recall changing the fuse in the tap.
