I’m reallllly liking it. The LEDs are a rich amber color and they really look impressive in person.

I just stared at it in the driveway for about an hour. My GF is so sick of hearing me say, ā€œit really ties the whole truck together!ā€ One more time and she’s probably going to kill me.
I heard a rug can also to that.... To a room of course. šŸ˜† IYKYK

it didn't come with instructions and some of the parts took some guesswork, but it all makes sense when it's assembled and ready to affix back on the truck. I'd rate the difficulty easy/medium as long as you have a plastic trim pry kit and simple wire tools and a micro 2 tap.
Which micro 2 tap did you order? And you inserted with the 5amp fuse?

Just a standard Micro 2 tap.

And, yes, I don’t recall changing the fuse in the tap.
So are they on all the time? I was hoping I could connect it to the headlights so they come on with them. Would you know how to do that? I’m not good at this stuff lol. I got the grill installed though but no wires connected.

Yes, 139 was the best option under the hood as it is tapped to the running lights and only hot when the key is on. (Not remote start)

And I don't know of any that are linked to the main headlights, but 139 suited my needs as I wanted them on with the DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)

You could probably use an Add a Fuse kit to piggy back off the headlamp circuit. There should be a fuse somewhere either in the engine compartment or interior BCM fuse box. This allows you to piggy back off them and make a new circuit for the raptor lights.

You're not adding any new information, but if you actually know which fuse the "headlamp circuit" is, please let us know. The fuse box diagram is posted in this thread.

Sorry I was going to edit my comment with a potential location. I am just looking at a generic wiring diagram and it says Fuse 1 and Fuse 3 are for headlamps. They are 30A fuses and in the engine compartment. But I don't know if this is trim specific and if LED projector vs Reflector changes this.

**Edit** There is also a diagram that says something about fuse 100/101 that are for headlamps and are 20A fuses. I think it depends on trim level as to which applies and you'd need to check your vehicles engine compartment fuse box to see which applies

So I checked mine and I have the 2 20A in the 100/101 spots but how do I tap into those? I’m a total noob when it comes to wiring

You need to buy an Add a fuse/Micro tap and take the original fuse out of one of those spots, put the original fuse into the designated spot in the add a fuse, and a new fuse of lower amperage(preferably around 5-10A) in the second slot. This will keep the original circuit intact and piggy back it making a new circuit for your lights. I am just trying to figure out which one is the actual fuse you want to tap into as the Base LEDs and Projectors are slightly different in the wiring diagram.

**EDIT** There is a 7.5A fuse in F17 of the BCM fuse box that is listed for the headlamp control as well. Not sure if that is for autolamps or part of the actual switch control as OEM diagrams are not telling me.

I will say, if neither of these allow the lights to come on only when the headlights are on, then the only option would likely be to tap into the power wire for the low beam itself. This will make it so they only turn on when the low beams come on.

You would need to look at a wiring diagram going to one of the headlamp assemblies and see which wire provides power to the low beam. Then you would need wire strippers or a wire tap that pinches the wire and splice in the wire for the lights to the headlamp wire. You would also need to do the same for ground. I believe they are pins 1 and 15 of the connector.

I already got put a spade connector on the negative and grounded it to the chassis. I’m just trying to figure out how to get the power connected to the headlights lol
