it simply auto-engage when sensing a certain sloop angle. that's the logic

so I enabled this feature via forescan as it's there for everyone but visible only for wildtrak X apparently. had the chance to test it today, and it works really well....you basically turn the truck with one of the two rear tire anchored to the ground, and reduce the turn radius by almost 50%...

Costed me 0 dollar with forescan (given you buy the forescan plug, but that’s useful for many other things..)

I finally could successfully remove ASS directly from forscan. No additional hw piece, just sw trick

That I haven’t seen in forescan. It’s coded somewhere else. Do not know how to activate, I have it built in my trim

On mine the forescan ASS removal works as a charme with no side effects

simply used the right settings as per the spreadsheet, summarised in this thread https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/camera-on-off.30130/post-438191 it seems I am the only one that could activate everything and also deactivating ASS via forescan

I haven’t tried plugging in a trailer or a load, but I forced towing mode and made my trailer active. That did not turn on the option. Maybe it requires an electrical connection to the trailer plug But beside this feature, everything else worked and works perfectly. A pity the reverse tilt...

there is actually a thing I am not sure is correct on the spreadsheet. the note says bits 1 and 2...but the XXXX shows only bit 1 with *.....I changed that with 3, and after ignition it goes back to 0. should I change both bit 1 and 2 to 3?

there is actually another one that does not work...trailer camera with turn...despite enabling it in non as built and then writing the correct value in as built, this value gets replaced by 0 every time I start the veichle, and thus the menu option remains greyed out. any clue?

Ok played with I could as built and non as built. Enabled a bunch of useful stuff and removed a bunch of useless stuff only thing I cannot get to work is camera at speed and 50/50 despite the settings being enabled

guys, tire temp enabled in the 12" cluster. but not in the off-road page..do you know where the setting is? I did all with non as-built to not mess around with values
