Prior to running the ride height calibration I had no experience connecting into a vehicle computer. With Forscan light (Android), the recommended bluetooth adapter and GOAT's procedure I got it done. Once I figured out how to get the vehicle set up so you can program it the rest is pretty easy...
The number one goal in lifting the Raptor was not to screw up the nice ride. I have a preference for progressive springs after using them on a JL jeep. I actually spoke with Geiser and was convinced that their design criteria of supporting an extra 500 lb with the full set of springs most met my...
Test drive with the ride height calibration done was really good. Now that the live valve shocks are not fighting the progressive springs, the progressive springs are doing exactly what they shoud do. Soft and smooth when going easy and tight when pushing the edge.
LOL - Yes @nedmo you were 100% right! Will be ordering pivot balls in a few minutes. So the epoxy dried, remounted RR ride height sensor then it read -12mm. Bounced the rear a few times, cleared some codes rebooted VDM. When I ran the calibration it failed, but continued running a second time...
@nedmo Yes snapped right off. Sensor reads fine moving lever by hand so just waiting for the epoxy (JB Weld) to set. Do we really have to wait till June for your ride height sensor pivot ball upgrade?
Listening to the news now here in the USA and what the the President just said, it does not sound like anything will happen fast. There may also be alternatives to work around the court ruling that could replace any tarrifs overturned.
@nedmo your insight was a real asset in the process. Now I just have to get ride height calibration to run successfully. I followed the procedure and it fails per the attached screendhots. My first time connecting a computer to a vehicle, I do know computers and was a mechanic before computers...
All the info shared in this thread is awesome. GOAT provided significant insight that is appreciated. Kudos to everyone else who shared their knowledge....

Rear stock 620mm was down to 560mm now 622mm

The Ranger is my third Raptor. most recent change was from a 2014 6.2L V8 supercrew Raptor to a 2024 Ranger Raptor and did the perfomance tune. Smaller, easier to drive, more power, less weight and modern technology. A superior vehicle all the way around and I have not had anything else get my...
