Interested to see what you find, I’ve had this happen several times, sometimes just randomly driving and a few times after a hard acceleration into a turn.

I had some touch up paint and a few minutes and the intrusive thoughts won. Looks good from far but it’s far from my best paint work. I’m sure it will flake off but overall happy with the job.

Mine did this again this morning, it was wet and slippery out not sure if that was a confounding factor or just coincidental.

I’ve for the altiq behind the grill and love it, 30 min install super easy, looks great and very bright.

Mine inadvertently switched to Baja on its own I saw it scroll through the drive modes and nothing was touching the knob.

Yeah you could push it up but then you’d have a terrible seal against the tailgate I actually had to pull it back from the cab for this exact reason

Upgraded from the tiny altiq rock lights to their pro series for better visibility backing up.

I got the altiq light bar as well and I’ve been very impressed with the build quality the fitment and the amount of light it throws. Great build

Follow up post to show the light output to the two altiq rock lights mounted under the tow hitch.

Altiq sent me a wrong bracket with my 32 in light bar and were kind enough to include two free rock lights I created a low budget bracket and mounted them under the receiver hitch. They need some adjustment but very happy with the test fit outcome.

I got a plan from flood ford last week and realized I would have saved 70$ had I gone through Grainger.

Solved! Thanks for the suggestion in the thread here. I had several bags of excess materials from mounting tvs and found spacers that were the perfect size. Two of these pushed the dampener over just enough so the cable isn’t getting caught anymore.

Great detailed suggestions yellow ranger! It just started pouring rain here but I’ll give the twisting idea a go and report back!
