What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

I considered that but the oil below the red line doesn't drain unless you remove the whole plug. Kind of defeats the purpose at that point. I think I'll just drain it into a 5 gallon bucket from now on.

Pros:

OEM look, super easy mounting (the holes are already there so you just remove the existing plastic grommets and put the new ones into the holes in the mud flaps that align perfectly with the factory mounting holes).

Look like they came from the factory.

Yea, I do sort of see it now that you mention it. LOL
I was big KITT fan, that was my favorite show when I was kid.
Even sort of had my own KITT back in the late 80s.
Bought the car new in 89.

By 91 it was really starting to rock the KITT look.

The Ranger Raptor now has the Ranger Raptors OEM grey rings on the SAS rims.

Just got it home last night after driving it 13 hours, ~850 miles from Henderson, NV. Requested they didn’t wash it, I preferred detailing it myself, and it was covered in bugs by the end of the trip. Plan B worked out well, my original order still hasn’t shipped.

Thrilled with how it drives and besides a hood realignment needed, (driver side gap is too close near A pillar), the rest of the fit and finish is good on it. Super pleased with this truck!

Handful of photos I took picking it up, where it sat overnight, and from the trip home.

Spent all day thoroughly washing it and detailing the interior. After a business trip into SE Washington next couple days, my break in will be done and I’ll be ready for the first oil change

Yes mostly highway for ~850 miles and average was 16.8mpg. I was varying RPMs a lot though - paddles were great for frequent downshifts and manual mode to hold different RPMs. I reset before another business trip early this week and averaged 20.2 on the highway then.

Just did my first oil change yesterday at 1500 miles - with mixed driving this week in town and mostly sport mode I’m averaging 16.8.

I just installed the Ronin valve last week and change the oil to full synthetic at 750 m

Altiq sent me a wrong bracket with my 32 in light bar and were kind enough to include two free rock lights I created a low budget bracket and mounted them under the receiver hitch. They need some adjustment but very happy with the test fit outcome.
