You can peel off any excess around the badge pretty easily. The plasti dip is durable on badges I’ve had it on vehicles for years and it still looks good. You can get a can at Lowe’s for like $6 dollars. 1 can is more than enough. I usually do like 4-5 coats with 30 mins between coats. First coat usually do a light dusting.

I spent the last few days pondering adding ambient lighting to the front cup holders after I added ambient lighting to rear seat footwells. I added rear seat ambient lighting and cup holders to my Bronco Raptor and took all of the parts off in anticipation the Ranger Raptor would be similar. Everything worked out great, the only difference is the Ranger Raptor has orange ambient lighting and the Bronco Raptor was all Ice Blue. I think it still looks good as the shifter is ice blue and the parking brake along with other switches. Cup Holder is not perfect, but better fit than on the Bronco. Wire harness was from JHForman and I used parts/instructions on Bronco6G Forum.

Thanks. Any information on a Ford Performance Tune for the Ranger Raptor? I hear rumors about one for the Bronco Raptor soon. I am hoping they come out about the same time.

Just got it home last night after driving it 13 hours, ~850 miles from Henderson, NV. Requested they didn’t wash it, I preferred detailing it myself, and it was covered in bugs by the end of the trip. Plan B worked out well, my original order still hasn’t shipped.

Thrilled with how it drives and besides a hood realignment needed, (driver side gap is too close near A pillar), the rest of the fit and finish is good on it. Super pleased with this truck!

Handful of photos I took picking it up, where it sat overnight, and from the trip home.

Spent all day thoroughly washing it and detailing the interior. After a business trip into SE Washington next couple days, my break in will be done and I’ll be ready for the first oil change😎

I did have to remove the crash bars. I ordered a high clearance set to put on instead (link below). They are for the 2023 model but it looks similar size and bolt pattern. After driving more I noticed on full turn and compression it barely touches the inside of the fender so I'm going to trim a small section this weekend. But it looks so much better, the RR looks built for 35s. Stance is perfect in my opinion with the+35mm

I finally got the high clearance crash bars installed and they do fit the 2024. They were easy to install.

Just so there is no confusion, this is not an invitation to give your opinion on whether you think I should have kept the OEM ones on, left them off, whatever. If these didn't fit, I would have just left them off, my other Raptors don't have them. But they were cheap enough to put on and fit well. That's how I skinned this cat. Hope this helps anyone else looking to do the same.

Also got a pic of the Altiq light bar installed. Very impressed with the light output and super easy install.

Break in oil change at 1,100 miles. Only spilled 2 out of 7 quarts! Holy crap that plug drains fast…

IMG_2456.jpeg
They are pricey but I'm considering getting one of these for that exact same reason.
