Yeah it was a beautiful truck, and he had just got it tuned by GooseTuned like 2 hours prior as well! Yes, I think his high center of gravity contributed to the crash, he looked top heavy with the two spares wheels in the back.
Sorry to hear about your truck. Are we talking retired like, truck...
Great photos and awesome videos! I need to make time to put mine together and post on youtube as well.
The Ranger Raptor that didn't survive was the Exodus truck. He had a matte black wrap, full suspension setup, and gold wheels I believe. First day at the private airport course, he must have...
I don't have much to add as I am here just to learn, but I would like to say these Method wheels are growing on me.
Also happy to see that I can upgrade the wheels, keep the same tire (maybe upscale to slightly bigger size), achieve a more OEM+ aggressive look and traction, without...
That's actually me!!
It was great meeting you, my father and I had a blast!
And you're right, I believe in total there were only 5 Ranger Raptors, unfortunately only 4 made it back in 1 piece at the end of the event. Fortunately everyone was safe and okay.
I can't wait for the next event, met...
This is my first off-road vehicle so I too am looking into a 3rd brake chase light, after my first TRR I realize it was pretty much required lol
I plan on pairing them with a pair of lower rear bumper mount lights, from SPV (Baja Designs). Typically do these lights run with the amber/yellow...
just here to comment how well red looks on these trucks!
nice set of wheels too! I've seen two different Rangers around town with bigger, wider stance, wheel setups and it's giving me the itch.
OP, are you planning to just do pads? I'm also interested in swapping my pads out for something with more bite when the OEM pads go out, along with better brake fluid, and maybe some SS lines.
a BBK isn't overkill to yall? I was hoping to find an alternative brake pad solution. Possibly different brake fluid and some SS brake lines would suffice.
Are you guys mounting the module on your windshield, or does the module not need to be plugged in at all times after the tune is installed? It would be great if i can unplug and dismount to free up more visual space.
My understanding is that the warranty is for 36k miles total on the tune, not the vehicle itself.
I had mine installed yesterday and the major difference, besides the power increase, is that truck downshifts A LOT smoother in Sport Mode. I can definitely see myself driving in Sport mode more...
The only thing holding me back from DIY is the registration of warranty. We need to provide documentation that the tune was purchased from a certified Ford Performance dealer, installed by Ford or Lincoln dealer, and provide invoices that it was all purchased accordingly, for the tune to be...
I removed mine last week (Shelter Green) except for the little underline on the rear tailgate badge. I purchased a pair of "Raptor" decals but in a different color-way (matte black on gloss black) for a more subtle look. Will post photos once the truck is clean and ceramic coated.
Thanks for sharing, I was trying to imagine how this color combo would look on shelter green and it looks good! Are the decals all matte finish? I want to try a combination of matte black letters with a gloss back border for a more subtle look, or maybe a darker grey bordering to compliment the...
Thanks for this! I've been wanting to get rid of the huge graphics since I much prefer the more simple look of only "Raptor". I've found other vendors that provide more color options for almost the same price. I may go that direction since I would like to achieve a more "ghost" look.
I think I am going to follow this setup as well. The only thing I'll try to change is find a small enough amp that can fit where the original 6" sub was. That way I wont lose both under-seat storage compartments. Ideally I would prefer to have everything behind the rear seats against the rear...
