I have the the ford oil separator on the 2.3 just take off all the Allen head bolts out and separate the two half move the top half out of the way and pull the lower half off the mount and empty it. If you want you can disconnect hose but it is not nessassary
Got 24 xlt 2.3 with the oem chrome 18 stock height . The factory spare is a 17 with bs tire. but I would love to but a real 18 black steelie as my spare with a full size tire I found a 18x7 steelie but is has a 20 will this work as a spare so I can utilize a full tire
I could not but brakes in service mode via key gas pedal key on/off sequence. I just did it through forscan. Also caliper on rear are a clockwise/tighten to retract pads.
Forscan has a 2 step process for bleeding brakes. I had to stop and cancel when step 2 promoted to apply pressure to master cylinder. I know what tool is needed but did you actually do step?
Trying to replace rear brakes now and get truck into brake service mode I tried so many times from what iI saw online nothing worked never got the confirmation on the dash that I was successfully I reached out to a fried of a friend who is a ford tech he sent be procedure and still could not...
Funny thing when this truck was new 500 miles i had all lights in dash Abs TCS the whole lot. and a code for bad wheel sensor that took ford months to get a part. Even when dealer replaced they were not concerned of the break wear at that time
24 xlt 2.3 4x4 19,500 rear brakes are cooked already 3 mil left I have raised concerd at delaer for fast wear and they say they are made poorly. Meanwhile front are damn near perfect still. No towing or heavy leads just seems odd to have to replace the rears already. Also rear rotors are...
I actually bought the ford sun shield obviously it fits perfecr cuts heat out but is a pain to store In a little truck I either tuck it side of the drive door along the bottom behind the seat belt fold the back seats down or just leave it out if no one else getting it back seat
I thought there was some type of of master cylinder leak or elecrronic brake booster issue that was part of a TSB in some 25 models maybe there is more years to be discovered
I also have one it is pricey but is what I wanted and does fit very well a little tailgate gap. I did get the bak from ford when they had a 20% cupon no complaints
1 time so making a right turn slight uphill cusual turn ac was on and then loss of power let off gas then gave it more nothing the let off and pressed gasses again then began to move haven't happened again
