I used 3 coats of VHT engine flat black and 3 coats of VHT satin clear, previously recommended with great results. Your option, tape everything off or loosen the 1st clamp and remove from the truck. Just follow the instructions on the can.
On a recent trip from Indianapolis to Savannah, GA, I averaged 20.1 mpg coming and going, at a pretty consistent 75mph. I noticed increased mpg immediately after I had the Procal installed at around 800 miles. Iām at 4,200 now and run premium all of the time.
I live in a Rural Area with 1 bar of data on a good day. Needless to say I live and die by the WiFi. Does anyone have any experience with software updates in this scenario? I took delivery of my 2025 RR the end of March so Iām not expecting an update. Just trying to feel this out.
I stand corrected. Upon returning from the Caribbean was informed by the Parts Manager that he had the wrong parts and that Procal was not yet available for the 2025 RR. On the plus side, mine is already paid for (got a good deal on it too) and I will get one as soon as they are available.
Well, the parts manager had the Procal in hand for his father and took my money. So until I return from the Carribian and find I have been flim flamed, hoodwinked, bamboozled or just plain had, I'm going to stay positive.
I just ordered the Procal for my 2025 RR at the Ford Parts counter. The parts manager already had one for his fatherās 2025. I was told it would be 3-5 work days to get it from Pennsylvania. Iāll be in the Caribbean for 10 days so no rush. Iām also getting a spray in liner and keyless entry...
Ordered my 2025 RR 10/17/24. 12/5/24 FMC order update of a production date slated to begin 2/24/25. Keep in mind that schedules can shift. Most dealerships I encountered in Indiana have dropped the dealer markups.
SEV3N8T1ā¦Iām thinking youāre going to see a vast improvement. There is much written about priority numbers here in the forum but lower seems to always be better. Good luck.
EHUBBā¦I cancelled and ordered 10/17/24. They gave me a priority of 19, and after asking if that was the best they could do for me, was told no, and that the new car manager would see to it personally. so I donāt know what I ended up with though Iāve read that 5 or 7 was preferred.
Yes, last week of February. I didnāt see the keyless entry application but from your implied less than amused, I can imagine. Iāve seen a few of the 2025 walk-thru/arounds and since Job #1 isnāt until 1/2/25, I donāt set much store by them. Iāll have to peruse You Tube some more for more...
After ordering a 2024 in June of this year and only getting a āā¦weāre working on, working on your orderā I cancelled in October and ordered a 2025. Iām a Texas Snowbird Nov-Mar so, no sense in taking delivery of a ā24 in ā25. I know theyāre the same vehicle except that now Iāve got to cough up...
