Here is the link to the Rival skid plate. They only had photos of the 2.7L drain plug lined up and I was not sure if the 2.3L drain plug was in the exact same spot. I asked them to add photos of the 2.3L lining up and they did. See the photos in the link...
I also did my oil filter from the top. The bottom seemed impossible and I really did not want to take the wheel liner out or bend it back. It seems like there are way more fasteners on the 6G liner than on the 5G videos I have seen. Worked just fine from the top. I think I am going to swap...
Hello Scott. Page 132 of that PDF manual is the section on "Customizing the Instrument Cluster". It has a section on Configuring Gauges. From the steering wheel buttons, you have to make sure you select "My View" to view the gauges you selected. If you are on another factory view, your...
The Australian ANCAP is the only people publishing ratings for the 6th Gen Ranger at this time. They gave it a five star rating.

4x2: Minimum Ground Clearance is 8.8"
4x4: Minimum Ground Clearance is 9.3"
From my understanding, the 4x2 and 4x4 without the FX4 package have the same ride quality. The FX4 package adds slightly stiffer shocks.
It seems to only work one direction. I noticed that the volume goes down when I am getting off the interstate, but it does not seem to increase when I am getting on the interstate. Maybe Ford will read the forums here and do an over the air update.
They are currently selling the Ranger Platinum in Australia right now. It has ventilated seats. I expect them to bring it to the US in the 2025 model year. The only issue is that it is currently configured with 20" rims and the reviewers say that it rides rough.
I have seen videos from Australia where the Turn Assist comes standard on their "Wildtrack X" model. I am sure they are testing it there before it is available here. My guess is it will be available here in the US when they launch the US Tremor package.
I was waiting on a video for the 2.3L as well, but no one has put one out. So I decided to go ahead and try it anyway. BTW, I have the 4x4 version without the FX4 package,. After looking at it from above and below, I ended up getting the oil filter out from the top. I used one of those...
Hey Mike, I followed the procedure that I referenced in the manual. It did not give me a positive confirmation that it took, however, it seemed to solve the problem.
I have had my Lariat for 4 months. I have not had any of the "loose leather" issues that people are talking about on the Raptors. I have the 4WD version and I put GoRhino side steps on it and I make sure to step on them to get in and out of the truck. On my last vehicle, I kind of slid in and...
I have a 2024 Ranger Lariat 4x4. It has 2,000 miles on it and I am averaging 24.6 MPG for the 2,000 miles. I run it in ECO mode and live in Indiana where it is very flat. I also use the adaptive cruise control a lot and use the auto Start/Stop as well. If you reset your 2nd trip OD before...
When I receive a text message with Android Auto on my Ranger there is a notice on the very top of the center screen with a button that allows the car to read the message to you. I have hit that button several times. When the female voice is done reading the message she asks you if you want to...
I read somewhere that when the US looked at the Matrix LED technology, they said they would approve it for use in the US if they would speed up the response time of the system. From my understanding, the hardware in the US Ranger is not fast enough to meet the improved US specs and was thus...
