I have multiple co-workers with it on their vehicles. So far it seems like it only really comes in useful on road trips using highways. I would personally just subscribe for a month if I knew I was going on a trip, otherwise for day-to-day driving I would not bother.
I personally looked into this just out of curiosity one day. If you didn't buy the truck with these on it ends up working out to be way over the $2000 mark to add them on. If you would like a whole list of part numbers and pricing I can grab them for you but they are not cheap.
(For reference...
I looked into these, I see they are on backorder with no solid ETA at all. The only thing I could suggest to possibly help this is to ask your dealer to make a "COPIS" case for vehicle-off-road. If the parts simply don't exist at the moment then you may be SOL but some times they will pull parts...
I did a 6ish hour drive in mine and was very comfortable the whole time.
I was sitting around 75mph for most of the trip and was getting around 19mpg on 93. I was happily surprised to get decent gas mileage that meant I could go over 300 miles on a tank without worrying about where to find gas...
That is one of the parts that I had replaced, mine came in a few days part# is N1WZ-17626-P and Ford has them in the national depot right now. May also be worth trying part# N1WZ-17626-VC which includes that section if your dealer can't get one of the others
I have had a couple of parts replaced on mine and I got them in within a week or so. It is pretty standard that on a new body style it will take a little while for parts to become stocked and available within a day or so. I just checked on a lot of the common collision parts and most of them are...
The paint was actually flaking off of my silver valance so I had it replaced under warranty. I can at least confirm they come from Ford pre-painted silver.
I was very temped to try and just keep peeling the silver as it was a matte black underneath but I was pretty confident I would make a mess...
I got the 6yr/100k (I put on a lot of miles). It seems to be priced the same for all 2024 Rangers and with Raptor parts being much more expensive to replace it seems like a no brainer. One front shock is almost $1400 for example which is more than I am paying for the warranty.
The seal itself is on backorder showing an off date of mid September.
Part number is N1WZ-17673-A
You can get a whole tank within a week or so but I doubt they would want to pay the extra $100 to save a couple of weeks.
N1WZ-17906-RH is a correct part number for a left hand side bumper bar. They come primed but not painted from ford.
They are currently around a 3-4 day order so it would make sense to me if it is taking them a few extra days to get it done.
