if you look at the 2024 photo, there is a “round drum” behind the brake fluid reservoir. It is not there in the 2025 photo. My brakes are like the 2025 photo. Does anyone know; What are the differences?
Not only are the engines different, but so are the brakes. I have a 2024 2.3L engine with the brakes shown in the above 2025 photo. How many different combinations did they make?
I considered options such as these. But I really didn’t have immediate plans to purchase anything that would put weight on the sides of the truck bed so I waited for the Ford Jbrace to become available. I actually bought my braces off another forum member and installed them about a month ago...
Do you know the wattage or amperage requirements for these plugs? I believe the 120V outlet is under 400W and the item can not have a high startup surge. For the 12V outlet, the item must draw less than 20A (240W). I assume the refrigerators you guys are using fit these requirements but wanted...
What is stopping you from searching for a 2024 Ranger FX4 with the 2.7 L engine? Your plan, outlined above, would support getting as much power as possible while still maintaining decent gas mileage. You asked for opinion, so here’s mine; Get the F150. If you must get the Ranger, get the 2025...
Renewal is currently quoted as $80.00 per year on my Ford Pass App. I have “Connected Built In Navigation” which expires 07-30-27 (3 years from my purchase).
Casenut98 - The “Job 1” and “Job 2” by the original poster are the same, just photos from a different angle. Your photos show the area from before the change was made and will require the J-brace should you want to put the added weight on top of the truck bed sides. Your photos are from the...
I just had the whole liner off today like your picture shows checking everything out and if I'm not mistaken, that spot I circled is where the scrivet in my picture goes, correct? If so, that looks like plenty of room to fit a cap style filter wrench on an extension, right? I've got swivels and...
I do believe going from the top is the best way. But in all honesty, it’s really not difficult to remove the liner inside the wheel well and get the filter that way. I use a Quickjack to lift the truck which takes weight off the wheel and provides extra room to work.
I could also reach the filter from the top, but wanted to see how tight it was thru the wheel well. I lifted the truck and removed the liner which made the filter accessible. But all future changes will be from the top.
